I do not count wins against non Div 1A opponents so that keeps it at 7 in 2013 (Sark had nothing to do with the Vegas Bowl).

Players/Tui talked about 'the goal' once he was named coach. I think that was 9 wins.

The "goal all along" has to take into account what was said at the kick ass presser 5 years ago - not what was said 2-5 games ago.
You can readjust your sights after each game and make the outcome look a little rosier each time. But the goal of championships was never close to being realized.

You guys might be reading into it too much. The "we all we got" at least suggests the possibility that the goal was to win the bowl game. IF the goal was 9 wins, then holy damn thank god Sark is going to USC to F that program up.
