Dawgman.com is who we thought they were

These last few weeks should have been an eye opener for everyone.
They need their credentials revoked. Simple as that.

Dawgman has done a great job of playing both the journalist card and fan-club card at whichever moment suits them. They'd respond to your post Damone, by saying their job is not to be a friend of the program, but to be journalists.
But then if you criticize anyone in the program that gives them access, they'll delete the posts. Which goes back to a lack of journalistic integrity.
I know they are about as far as journalists as you can get, but i have seen Fetters pull that card in the past. -
They are journalists until they get something wrong and then they never said they were journalists.
-
I've seen them play both sides (75,000?). Fetters has said they stopped being fans a long time ago, and I have also seen them say we are just fans when they get called out for getting shit wrong.brianwwu29 said:Dawgman has done a great job of playing both the journalist card and fan-club card at whichever moment suits them. Kim and Ecklund have reached a new low since the Petersen hire. They have insulted the intelligence of their customers by pushing an obvious agenda and thinking people won't catch on. Sadly they've been right with about 80% of the customers. The efforts to hide it have been half assed at best, pretty much consisting of one faux sarcasm post from Kim mocking the accusations. Note that these accusations have only come from this site for those who wonder if they read it.

It has been a total lack of consistency over there, but so many posters are too FS to realize it. As the OP said though, they have recently made it clear (with abundance) that they are no longer a fan-site of UW. They couldn't give a shit about the program, and are therefore the worst group of "journalists" in America.RoadDawg55 said:

They're not journalists. They're ex band members who never witnessed a game as their tuba ' s were in the way. These guys no zip about football. Mostly kim and Dave, then fetters a close third, Ektard 3bCuntWaffle said:They are journalists until they get something wrong and then they never said they were journalists.

Kind of agree. It isn't a journalist's job to be a friend of the program or be a fan, it's their job to accurately report what's going on. The problem, as many have previously stated, is that they try to walk the fence between fans and journalists, cherry picking when they want to walk on each side. It's hypocrisy at it's finest. They claim to be whatever best suits their agenda at that point in time. They don't want to be journalists, because they want people in the program to like them and invite them underneath the table of the corner booth at Joey's, but they use the guise of being journalists to gain access. Really what it comes down to is that they are insecure loosers who just want to be part of the club(think Members Only). I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Petersen completely pull their credentials. Anyone with half a brain can see through their bullshit. They aren't real journalists, and they aren't real fans. They're just a really weird, pathetic cross between the two.brianwwu29 said:

Thanks for another stimulating update about your favorite site.

Then why in Jake's name do you keep reading threads that are clearly about Dawgman?Global said:Thanks for another stimulating update about your favorite site.

I canceled my membership during the coaching search. The response on the boards re: CP and on their radio show is terrible. I wanted to cancel in 2008 because I was so pissed tey completely missed the state of the program during their season previews but their wasn't an alternative superfan site. I am one who would pay for content. However, everybody reports the same shit. No insight into the players or position battles. Just post practice videos. Sweet.

It seems my post here has been deleted. It seems that complaining about the Doogman infatuation is a censor able offenseDerekJohnson said:

If they were journalists they would have reported on Sark's alleged philandering and having a booze cruise at that one high school all star football game.
If they weren't journalists they wouldn't ask Sark, an assistant, or Woody for off-the-record comments. But yet...they do. And I know this for a fact.
Kim, f3, and Ektard just want to have their cake and eat it too. It would be nice if they would come clean and say, "We like being close to the athletic dept and the football coaches. We like getting off the record stories and comments. We like to hang out with players and their families at the team hotel. We also like being public sports figures in Seattle. It feeds our egos." Then I would be FINE with whatever the fuck they say. But they don't come clean and say what makes their little penises fill with blood. So fuck em. -
Wanted to cancel 5 years ago, so that means you probably started a couple years before that. We'll say 7 years at $10.95, comes out to $919.80. Doogman thanks you for your business. I'm sure the made up rumors were worth it! Sorry man, not meaning to rag on you, I just find it amazing how they can pull in money like that without providing any real insight.AEB said:I canceled my membership during the coaching search. A great feature. How many down votes does it take to make a post disappear?jmc84 said:

That would make it easier for the Doog-obsessed circle jerkers to have an uninterrupted circle jerk.

And I'm sure you're prepared to volunteer to sit in the center of said circle jerk.Global said:

We have a tendency to joke with each other here.
