One of my Coog buddies asked if Petersen was taking over for Helton. I reminded him that Petersen interviewed with USC before UW. And last year Leach tried everything to leave but couldn't find a taker, even as only the second couch to ever really win in Pullman. He tried to Mumble something about Dennis Erickson and I reminded him that Dennis only lasted 2 years and bailed.

Why would USC want Petersen? He almost lost to UCLA too, and has lost to 3 unranked teams in year 5 with a senior QB.
I doubt that meets USC standards any more then Helton does.
The OKG think won't fly at USC. They recruit the best, not just the best OKGs. -
