Well Pete makes 4.3 so he’s not talking about him... (hopeful yet doubtful)

Edit: Assuming a quality recruiter. Point stands. Easiest position to recruit talent to.WeakarmCobra said:

If you don't think we should offer Gee Scott Jr you don't understand recruiting.

Rabbit fucking ears.

The fact that we don’t offer local kids who can play on the level is an abomination.

Forget the OKG shit. He's simply not good enough. He doesn't dominate WA state talent. He doesn't have break away speed. He's not as good as Osborne, Spiker, or Davis. Spiker broke the California state record for touchdowns in a career for fuck sake. The 4-stars next to this kid's name will get him big name offers but the coaches have seen him in person multiple times and think they can do better. Simple as that. As we've heard from guys like Ayden Hector and Sam Adams, UW's selectiveness with who they offer makes the offer even more special. Not offering Gee Scott Jr. does not hurt UW's in-state recruiting efforts at all. It makes in-state kids want that coveted offer even more.Dennis_DeYoung said:If you don't think we should offer Gee Scott Jr you don't understand recruiting.

When Oregon lands Gee Scott and UW gets Silas Starr, StrongBad will tell everyone that UW got their man.StrongArmCobra said:

Gee Scott Jr may be a high end player ... we will see in time
His Dad at minimum comes off as a giant headache and has gone to the LaVar Ball school of being a spokesperson for his kid
It’s one thing if you are a generational talent ... but if you are just a high end caliber player that can be recruited elsewhere then you may not be worth the trouble
