“Fox News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential,” Fox News President Jay Wallace said in a statement. “Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized. While we don’t condone the growing antagonistic tone by both the President and the press at recent media avails, we do support a free press, access and open exchanges for the American people.”

Fox isn't wrong. They shouldn't revoke any press member's credentials. Quite frankly, live outbursts between Trump and the press only strengthens his base. Kind of strange Trump doesn't use that to his advantage more.

FYI Fox is the statist/corporate rent seeking arm of that part of the electorate. Most of the criticisms you have of it/ the section of the GOP it appeals to are probably shared by the portion of people who would call it "Left or liberal leaning". How will CNN respond when White House lawyers request they preserve all eamils containing the words Trump, Donald, Hope Hicks, Ivanka, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, etc. for discovery?

By picking up the credentials of CNN’s Jim Acosta and booting him out of the White House, Trump has set a good precedent.
Freedom of the press does not mean guaranteed immunity of the press from the same kind of abuse the press directs at the president.

Acosta is infringing on the ability, not the right, of other outlets to get a word in while he grandstands and makes speeches
The government is not infringing on his right to speak. They can control how a kick ass presser is held and those that break the rules can in fact be kicked out -
