I am sure Petersen told Hamdan to keep the playbook exactly the same after Smith left especially knowing he would have to play him every year in conference. I always love how one side has the huge advantage while the other doesn't have any for both being around each other for so long. It's like when a team beats another team once and has to play them again later in the year and the narrative is "They lost the first time but they are going to make adjustments so it will be harder to beat them a 2nd time". -
