another thread about how much UW has unperformed
Figured I would get in on the action since the board likes to flog a dead horse. Was there anyone NOT convinced UW screwed the pooch again Auburn, Oregon and Cal?

Four biggest areas (IMO) where we have suffered failures of execution/planning this season that caused those losses:
1. QB - Now, *maybe* it's just the QB. And *maybe* it's expecting a QB to do too much to overcome the inadequacies of another group that will be on this list, the OL. But there are also plenty of times where the QB isn't given a chance to succeed. We run plays that don't give him good options and expect him to pull a rabbit out of a hat. And when he is given chances and still misses reads and makes the wrong throw, part of that is coaching. Might be too early to assign blame, but Hamdan should feel unsafe.
2. OL - Fuck off if you just want to blame old recruiting failures. You sound like you are blaming USC's sanctions. McGary has gotten worse. Wattenberg has looked worse. Roberts hasn't developed. Not having enough talented, experienced depth is PART of it, but we also have guys who have performed better and should be performing better who are not. Who aren't getting proper leverage, who are getting beat by guys they should physically dominate. Huff better keep recruiting his ass off, because his coaching isn't looking great.
3. WR - What good is recruiting better WRs if they can't fucking play well enough to see the field instead of JAGs? WTF does Lubick do, exactly? Not to mention it's not a great look to have so many white coaches and your position coach for a position that is 90% A-A is also white. Should be DOA, IMO.
4. ST (LB) - BBK is actually playing well. MyTevis has been okay. Other guys transferred out and there is no depth due to shit recruiting. ST execution failures abound. Should be DOA.
I know there are families and livelihoods involved, but we are not getting it done at QB/OC, OL, WR, and ST. It's a big shakeup, but I would probably give Bush and Huff moar tim to get their reads down, but I would look to replace our WR and LB/ST coaches.
