Season Highlights:

* Central wins most games by like 100-0 but loses last game, so is just a GNAC co-champ, and no playoff berth

* Men's room now has 4 stand alone urinals instead of the previous trough style which was easily confused with the sink

* New synthetic turf and ticket gate make it looks somewhat more modern

* No statues of old coaches glaring at the basketball pavilion planned

* Field not yet named after local airline

    I traveled with the Woodinville basketball team last winter and they stopped to practice at CWU. It was a nice old gym. It had character.

    That structure is unique. On the whole, the campus looks much better than it did when I was there like 30 years ago. It was kind of dump then in many ways. Enrollment is way up, though, and there are some very modern looking buildings now. It's actually a pretty big school at this point -- no one could really call it a small college realistically.
