Does the black beast still get his redshirt? Can someone clarify the rule for me?

He can play in 3 more games and still redshirt
You can now play in 4 games... any 4 games and still redshirt. I believe the previous rule was the first three games or the first quarter of the season or something like that. -

It would be INCREDIBLY stupid to play him against Oregon State. If we beat WSU, that would make 5 games and would burn his redshirt. Yes, there's a good chance he leaves before his 5th year but it would be dumb to throw away his redshirt year just so he can play against OSU
