Strong special teams, few penalties, good execution, good OL play (gave up no sacks), good pash rush.

crazy what happens when you dont have Sark coaching.

Not total. Missed tackles and horrible play calls in crucial situations were 100% Sark.
It was definitely good enough to get me even more excited for next year though. -
Good points Chest, but it felt like a typical Sark game at times. Special teams were pretty good, but not downing the punt and giving up the fake were both pretty bad. A bad snap was BYU's fault, not anything UW did.

It was anti-Sark enough for me because....... well, Sark wasn't there. Going for it a second time on 4th-and-one in the same offensive drive was a silly mistake with our OL against BYU's defense and beyond Sark lameness. Otherwise, I thought the Huskies played well enough and better than I expected utilizing most of the talent and athleticism advantages they had over BYU.

The most obvious anti-Sark characteristic was the outcome. Tui now has as many bowl wins as Sark.

Yeah but he couldn't have done it without Sark's players.Homebrew_Dawg said:The most obvious anti-Sark characteristic was the outcome. Tui now has as many bowl wins as Sark.
Beer me while I WOOF!!! -
5 penalties for 24 yards has to be a season low or close to it.

I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say UW loses that game if Sark is coach, but I never felt like UW would end up losing once the game started. It was clear UW had the best players on the field, and comforting to know Sark wasn't there to put his stamp of stupidity on the game.
It was kind of fun playing against Jack Lockner, too.
