Sanchez started 3 games as a sophomore and 13 as a junior so they had 16 games of him.HuskyJW said:

Mitch Trubisky only started 13 games in his career - all in one season - so he's a better recent example.
But both of those guys were very good in their season of starting, Sanchez completed 65.8 percent of his passes for a 164.6 rating. Trubisky completed 68.2 for a 158.3 rating. Eason completed 55.1 percent of his passes for a rating of 120.3
Eason will get a little credit for playing in the SEC (though the much weaker division), and a little more credit for being a true freshman (Sanchez and Trubisky were juniors in their seasons), but nobody is spending a first round pick on a kid who has thrown 7 passes in two years and never been successful on the field. I don't care how much they love his arm talent, or how hard they sell themselves on his tape.
If he goes to the draft it's a really dumb decision and basically means he would rather make 1/5 as much money on his first contract so he doesn't have to play school or deal with Pete. There's no chance he's picked before day three.

What kind of fuck could trade up and draft Trubusky over DeShaun Watson? I know sometimes college production doesn't translate to the pros, but I wouldn't be able to sleep if I made a move that dumb.NEsnake12 said:

You were stupid then and you’re stupider now for thumping your chest after nothing more than speculation from a ruthdawg poster. The only person who could potentially be stupider than you would be Eason if he left now after an average freshman season and two years of no football. Runner up would be any GM who drafted him before the 6th round. Thankfully for us, none of those stupid scenarios will play out, and you’re still stupid.
