    Agree on the offensive side (and think that’s mostly Jake), but I guess I don’t see it on the defensive side. The entire team was flat in the first half, but Levi and Jaylen were talking shit to Montez most of the second half, little Myles Bryant seem to have gotten confidence from steamrolling and hurting Penei if you believe twitter because he tried to pick a fight with Montez after his diving deflection, and both Tevis and even BBK were celebrating out there.

    I’m a “like to have my cake and eat it too” kind of girl so at the risk of being greedy I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect this team to play with emotion *and* be disciplined.

    We’ve seen Pete and his players be fired up yet play smart, so we know it’s possible. Dennis’ explaination as to why we regressed into this sleepwalking pod-version of ourselves is as good as any I’ve heard in awhile.

    I am curious though if this can be turned around *this* season.
