The big 12 is garbage. So is the ACC this year apart from Clemson, they haven't earned top 5 status yet with their trashy schedule, they're riding the fumes of the past right now, like Georgia was before they lost to LSU. The PAC should be rated higher than this. This is dreck. Notre Dame should be left out until they join a conference. A team that plays 1 less game than everyone else needs to be punished in some way. The committee should give a lot more credence to their close wins against crappy teams, like Pitt, when judging their resume.

The Pac got its ass blasted in the bowl games last year and didn't win any big non-conference games this year. Not to mention the lack of championships. So basically Oregon has to win out, Bama has to stay clean and beat Georgia, SC has to beat ND, Texas and OU both have to lose again, and this still might not do it.
