Question for the recruiting gurus

For those of you that watch all the hudls and stuff. When talking about top 15 recruiting classes. How much are the classes of Alabama and such is inflated by offers from big schools. In other words, if a kid gets an offer from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, etc. they get inflated to a higher star. Whereas they commit to UW early and don't really get other offers so they remain a 3 star.
Do you think that is true and how much of the rankings is inflated by that?

Where/when they get offers certainly factors in, but in my opinion most of these guys are tiered out by the end of their sophomore year. Meaning they get their initial ranking at that point and then they only move up or down so much from there over the next 18 months. The early rankings are usually more dictated by their presence at camps, willingness to give interviews, social media and other bullshit which these recruiting hogs eat up. UW tends to offer more of the kinds of guys that don't do all of that extra stuff, some call it 'OKG', and so it perpetuates the perception that "UW guys don't move up in the rankings".2001400ex said:For those of you that watch all the hudls and stuff.
