Agree. He knows his constituency expects him to vote in favor of the confirmation, but he's retiring, not running for re-election. He's already flaked once calling for the delay and yet another FBI investigation. He may flake again, giving the middle finger to those who voted him into office. They got out of this what they wanted. They knew they didn't have votes to block him but their base wanted to see them do everything in their power to block him.
