It's amazing watching Washington let a 13 put lead dwindle to nothing while his team stands around helpless. Just let what happens happen. NO coach would let their team fall apart like that without a timeout and regroup, sub. It's embarrassing how inept Romar is

Romar hasn't looked like he's cared about winning or losing for a couple years now. Hopefully he chooses death with dignity by resigning soon rather than dragging the team back into the depths they came from when he became coach

Romar will never overachieve. Great talent has made him look competent at times, but he's a bad coach. Each year it is becoming more and more evident. Brandon Roy was a top 10-15 player in the NBA when he was healthy, Nate Robinson can score on anyone, Isaiah is averaging almost 19 a game this year, Spencer Hawes, T-Ross, Tony Wroten, Pondexter, Tre Simmons, Brockman. This guy has had great players and about any coach could have done what Romar has. I wonder what some of those teams could have done with an elite coach like Pitino.

Ha I remember when those fucktards on doogman like spado and beach were trying to convince everyone that Blackwell would average 15 & 10. He fucking sucks. CJ is a nice player but not when he has to be the main guy. Anderson is the only bright spot.

Typical shit from them. Suggs was supposed to be an all conference guy last year. The only thing Blackwell can do competently is score. He's slow, average rebounder, and a terrible defender. I have defended Romar at times but he is garbage. He has a good eye for talent and is a above average recruiter but that is it. He is lucky to have had a couple players carry him and make him look way better than he is.

Green Bay promptly drives down the field and has a shot at the endzone. Why not take two knees and kick a field goal the length of an extra point as time expires? Because Tomlin is a dumb fuck. And he's got a Super Bowl ring.
Most coaches are also pussies. If Romar doesn't tell them to foul it's on the players for not playing good enough defense. If he tells them to foul and the opponent gets off a 3 on the foul it's a bad call by Romar. We know that's not the case in those situations but that's how a lot of people would view it. Romar would rather make his players look bad than risk making himself look bad. -

There are a lot of coaches and GM's in sports that are morons. It's basically a good ol boy network, and like most jobs, a lot of it is about who you know and what sort of connections you have. If you played college sports, you can work your way up to a head coaching job by being an assistant on the right teams. Look at Romar and Sark. They were assistants at great schools, and have basically had their careers made from it. Same thing with the front offices even though that is changing because of advanced metrics and analytics.allpurpleallgold said:

Romar's fouled to protect the three point lead quite a few times since then. It took him until like 08 or 09 before he started, but it's pretty much his standard move in that situation now.He_Needs_More_Time said:
