What is your favorite album of all time (can be any genre) ??
For me, it will always be the Stone's Exile on Main Street . This was fast strategy Keith at his all time peak and is the finest synthesis of rock, blues, soul, gospel and country that any group ever committed to wax. Furthermore, it's one of the few double LPs ever recorded that doesn't really have a weak track or two.

It's a triple album "best of" set, but in terms of cohesive greatest hits album it's second to none. Also, Neil, having the deepest archive vault in the history of rock was able to put some great unreleased material on this album.RaceBannon said::format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(90)/discogs-images/R-600168-1138162234.jpeg.jpg)

I can't do it.
Electric Ladyland
Hwy 61 Revisited
Dirt
Sleeps With Angels
Rust Never Sleeps
On the Beach
Zuma
Ragged Glory
After the Gold Rush
Freedom
The Stones compilation that I made myself.
I'd think of at least half a dozen others under pressure, choke, fail to choose one, and end up stuck singing to myself on my island. -
Be a man, damn it, and pick one. Of your above list the answer is easy...chuck said:I can't do it.

Only because I think listening to Sanitarium for 40 years alone would make me kill myself, I have to go with Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison.

I don't know. Some filler between track 3 and whatever # Tom Thumb's blues is. I even skip the title track at times.YellowSnow said:

Leaning toward this at the moment...

That picture @swaye is from the San Quentin album, but that's ok...Swaye said:Only because I think listening to Sanitarium for 40 years alone would make me kill myself, I have to go with Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison.

So, I'm wondering if this is a Freudian slip?

I would skip over Jump and I'll Wait and just listen to the guitar songs -
To Pimp a Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar
or maybe
Nah that's the one -

I'm not sure I'd go with VH as the only album - but if I did, 1984 would be third (maybe fourth) on the list. Fair Warning gives me a flashback boner to 1981.
Lord, strike that poor boy down....
