Is now the #1 scoring defense in all of the land:
http://www.cfbstats.com/2018/leader/national/team/defense/split01/category09/sort01.html

Still, I'm hearing from noted expurt @Mosster47 that our D is shit and Herbert is gonna hang 45 on us.

We? have played two top-15 defenses already. Good news is it looks like Colorado (20) or Stanford (22) that will be our toughest defenses we face here on out. ASU was 31st for reference, and we pretty much controlled that defense.

Every team you have played is statistically horrible on offense regardless of who they are playing.

The potential for this D is staggering if we can get some fucking edge rushers.

And the flip side to this is that we've played the #3, 14, 31 and 35 defenses in 4 of our first 5. What happens when we play the real middling defenses like Oregon at #58 in scoring defense? Jake make suck but he moves the ball on Oregon.
Early defensive stats outside of individual efforts like sacks and INT's are pretty meaningless because most schedules are front loaded with shit.

You did well against Auburn, NoDak, and the Mormos on D? No way! So have you and everyone else.

Any offense with Jake Browning at the helm is a shit show waiting to happen.

You're thinking of Oregon's schedule. Our strength of schedule is 12th while Oregon's is 144th.

Mosster has made an art form out of quietly being the dumbest motherfucker on this board

He's just a jack quook praying every day as hard as he can that UW's defense is overrated.

Early stats don't matter except for the ones monster thinks matter.

Way to compliment byu's physicality before the game only to completely dismiss them as trash after we took them to the woodshed
I didn't watch the game at all. All I know is they were the #112 offense going in.

How that is a Top 25 team after a month is staggering.

That's all well and good, but the ranked unit analysis has its limitations and you know why.

That said, Washington's taller receivers and solid inside running game don't seem like favorable match-ups for Oregon.

Oregon will score on Washington, but not enuff. This isnt the year.

So? Furd proved once again they have a slow as molasses defense, they aren't even a top 15 team in reality. Top 20 is even a stretch.

Right, so why are they going to be in the Rose Bowl this year?

It is our achilles heal. If we had good pass rushers we would basically be unbeatable.

It especially sucks that Jeremiah Martin chose A&M over us. And now he is getting poked in the eyes by Jimbo Fisher on the sidelines. Jesus... why do college coaches have such weird names... Willie Taggert? Jimbo Fisher? Dabo Swinney? Kirby Smart? Urban Meyer? Chip Kelly? Les Miles? What is up with that anyways...

There are many reasons why sorting by points allowed is pretty worthless.

Yards per play is much more predictive- UW is tied for 4th.

If you adjusted ypp for schedule it would be even better but the site I used to use for that looks to be defunct and I am too lazy to do it.

Herbert is gonna hang 45 on us. Just as pup said ducks would pre-season. Theres a reason Pup picked Oregon 1b to win pac12. Oh wait, 99% here said I was foolish. Lookin pretty silly ain't all ya'll? But what's new

Ok maybe 35,, but still... ducks would beat anyone in cuntry by 1-td at Autzen. Bama? Hard to say they dont play anyone away
