Good luck getting anyone nominated in 50 years when every single person has internet history of them chewing a tide pop

A bunch of people who were in Kavanaugh's class at Yale apparently knew about the penis in the face thing. I read that they were emailing among themselves and that there were indications that the Administration knew as well. Why not just move on to the next paid-up Federalist Society member?
Where did you read that. Seems like kind of a big deal. Like me

The advent of social media will make it even more impossible

I hope none of the kids here ever want to be anything special

I'm glad Al Gore invented the internet in 1980.

I think Kavanaugh is probably guilt of the act Ford accuses him of. But I think she's overplaying her trauma, lying about believing he was going to kill her (completely unbelievable, especially since they were supposedly laughing), and lying, falsely attributing or mis-attributing her problems in life to whatever happened between her and Kavanaugh. This is a revenge plot, plain and simple. It has nothing to do with healing, protecting women, stopping a monster, or a "civic duty" in any way. This is about settling scores. Period.

That's more or less how I see it. Something unpleasant or uncomfortable probably happened. Brett was a frat boy and a privilege kid and sometimes kids like who have everything fall their way can get cocky and think they can do whatever they want.

I don't believe the guy has some kind of problem and I really don't believe he's an Anthony Weiner-type character. He was probably an asshole for an hour or two at a few parties growing up, but not some kind of rapist. Seems implausible to me.

That the 4 witnesses she named as being there said it didn't happen crushes her story. Nothing else was of consequence.

That has nothing to do with you claiming the bored conservatives were having a melt down for posting here now does it

The Catholic religion and Catholic schools fuck guys up pretty bad. The Madonna-Whore complex is embedded starting in about 3rd grade and it doesn't go away. The girls fuck like crazy after the first time, when they realize sex is fun and hell is at least 60 years off, so they'll deal with it later. Guys become man-whores fucking everything that moves in the "fuckable, but not marriage material" category, i.e., whores, while their eyes forever roam for their marriage-material Madonna. Once they find that woman (and fall into that trap), they toe the line pretty well, return to church, join the Knights of Columbus, etc. Kavanaugh - Gee, do Irish guys drink? - fits neatly into that category and resembles about 90% of catholic men I know. Interviewed by investigators answered under penalty of perjury. Even Fords good friend she claimed was there said it didn't happen.

You should see what us Latinos do with that particular element of crazy.

Our version of it is that all women are whores except our moms, and later our daughters. But everyone else!

    My main takeaway from today:

It's the Clintons fault that Kavanaugh is a sex predator.

My takeaway from today - anybody who works Flatulence into the congressional record deserves to be on the supreme court
