Great to have sound mixing loud enough to hear again.
Pete must update his offense. He needs to learn to play from a position of dominance. I get that when you have inferior talent your only hope to beat the best is to out clever them but this isn't boise.
I'm not saying there isn't a place in the offense for trying to confuse your opponents and make them think so they are a step behind because there can be. Right now this offense is paralyzing us with no appreciable affect on our opponents however. There is no reason we can't have a run-based offense where we roll out formations that allow us to do multiple things in the run and passing game that forces our opponents to expect both without being overly complicated for us. Like we have tight ends. They are perfect for that if we just use them...
We're in better shape for the ol than I expected this year. I think we all saw this coming and didn't expect trey this year albeit for a different reason. We knew we'd be going and lack of recruiting would bite us this year but the guys we do have are performing better than I expected they would two years ago. I agree with the sentiment that this should be our low point for the foreseeable future.
Also fuck me but congrats @Tequilla for your haiku victory. -

I think the point on Browning playing his best football is an important one for all the doogs out there...
I agree that the Utah game was essentially Browning at his best. I thought he played close to his ceiling in the Auburn game as well. He can make some plays here and there and, when he does, he looks like an above average QB. The problem is that all it takes is just 1 or 2 pants-shitting moments for him and he does stuff that will lose you games against good teams. That scrambling TD he had to Ty Jones doesn't fucking matter if throwing a bonehead interception to a D Lineman on 3rd and impossible loses you the game(it didn't but it was essentially all he could do to let Utah back in it).
You judge a QB by their entire body of work and a few flashy plays don't make up for utterly idiotic interceptions and fumbles. If you are OK with UW's ceiling being losing 1 game in a weak Pac 12 and then getting their doors blown off in a bowl game against a good team then Jake is your guy. If you want to level up then you need a QB who can make plays and put the team on his back(see Sam Darnold). Great teams in any sport have their role players and lunch pail whatever the fuck guys but they also have superstars who demand the ball when the game is on the line.
Jake has shown us that he shits the bed in critical situations time and time again.
