Justin Herbert has faced the following three defenses:
Bowling Green: 123rd among FBS teams in total defense
San Jose State: 124th among FBS teams in total defense
Portland State: 101st among FCS teams in total defense
Yet among PAC12 QBs he is ranked:
Tied for first in interceptions, with 4
Tied for 11th in completion percentage, 57.3%
He does lead the conference in TD passes (12) and yards per attempt (10.4). But his adjusted QBR is only 72.2
Byron Murphy, Jordan Miller, and Taylor Rapp are going to terrorize him. -
They're not wrong that Browning's "decline" (how do you decline when you always sucked?) has made our team vulnerable. But they're not accounting for the fact that Stanford and Oregon suck more than we do.
