And I lean toward Tenenbaums second but greatly respect Rushmore and Mr. Fox. Especially Rushmore.

Mr Fox, quite easily. Budapest was somewhat enjoyable. The rest I just don’t get. Actively hated Life Aquatic.

Life Aquatic is the best and it's not even close.

    Correct order:

    Zissou
Tenenbaums or Rushmore or Mr. Fox
    Budapest
    Bottle Rocket
    Moonrise or Darjeeling

Haven't seen Isle of Dogs so I assume it's garbage.
    I find you're flag chinvigorating.

The "let me tell you about my boat" tour of the Belafonte is the most visually impressive scene in all of Anderson's films.

    1- Aquatic
    2- Fox/Moonrise

Need to see still: Rushmore, Bottle Rocket

Isle was just OK. Watched it on an airplane so probably fell asleep 9 times, not a fair shot.

In general, I love Wes Anderson films. Quirky, funny, smart.

Rushmore, Tenenbaums and Aquatic are all pretty much tied for me. Same goes with their soundtracks. Wes Anderson and I are kindred spirits when it comes to musical taste.

Of the more recent stuff, I didn’t care for Darjeeling, I liked Grand Budapest, and was pleasantly surprised by Moonrise. Haven’t seen Isle of Dogs.

Aquatic is 1, but Tenenbaums is a close 2nd.

Steve Zissou is my hero. Tenenbaums was fucking great. I read where Wes tried to convince Gene Wilder return from retirement to play Royal which is mind boggling to imagine. I wouldn't replace Gene Hackman with anyone tho, he gave Royal a real edge.

The casts are incredible which is why his animated stuff is always a slight let down for me. Willem fucking kills me in Zissou. Jason Swartzman impressed the hell out of me in Rushmore, hadn't seen him before. Goes without saying, Bill Murray cements his place as a National Treasure in Wes Andersons World.

Moonrise, Darjeeling, Bottle Rocket and Budapest were all really fun. First time I'd seen a Ralph Fiennes movie I liked, he was great.
