Classic. You don't "pay" when the clerk swipes your card. You "pay" when the bill comes to your house, you write the check, and the bank removes the money from your account. Where did you get the money to pay the bill, mom?

You can easily pay by card through the mail when a bill comes to your house. Many bills have an option to put in your card info. I've do it quite a bit.
