WHY IS NO ONE ELSE WORRIED OUR BEST AND MOST ATHLETIC OL LOOKS LIKE BEN FUCKING OSSAI
-
It has to be mental with him. His family is in a really tough spot right now and he may be looking at the NFL as his one legit chance to help out in the near future. He may need to just forget everything and play football. Easier said than done. Do we have a sports psychologist on this site?

What a load of hip shooting bullshit. Maybe that's the reason, but you wouldn't fucking know that. It's also two games, everyone needs to LIFPO.BeerThirty said:It has to be mental with him. He looked fine imo, just everyone else around him playing like shit
-
I haven't focused on McGary enough to really know. I did think Adams regressed last year before injury and our OL has been worse since Huff took over.
-
Haven't seen him give up any sacks so how has he not played well? Motherfuckers reaching for shit to complain about. Keep the focus of complaints on the real weak links: Browning, BBK, and the edge rushers.

So all there is to blocking is not giving up sacks?StrongArmCobra said:Haven't seen him give up any sacks so how has he not played well?

He's also run blocked well. This thread is fucking stupid. McGary is not somebody anybody should be complaining about.HillsboroDuck said:

The OL hasn't played well. They got a pass against Auburn for playing well enough to win. They still weren't "good." How could you dispute that?StrongArmCobra said:Haven't seen him give up any sacks so how has he not played well? Motherfuckers reaching for shit to complain about. His family is close to homeless due to a fire. If you don’t think he is looking at a strong sr season to help his draft stock so he can help his family then you are a moron. He may be “trying too hard”GreenRiverGatorz said:

Dude just needs to stay healthy, he’ll make his money at the combine

Well enough to win vs Auburn = good, IMO.RoadDawg55 said:

They’ve looked awful since then. -
They've played well enough to win every game so far and they've improved from last season. UW O-line vs Auburn > UW O-line vs Penn State. They've played three fucking games. It takes time to gain the necessary cohesion when you have new guys in the mix.RoadDawg55 said:

But this thread isn't about the O-line. It's about McGary. You don't get to judge him based on the performances of others on the O-line. That's retarded. He's played up to standard. There's nothing anybody can say to prove otherwise so eat a dick. -
I have all the screenshots I need.
Running game is coming along nicely. Pass blocking is the issue -
Running game is shit, McGary not playing well
-
I’m not even worried
-
Well for one Gaskin ran for 143 yards on Utah and 4.8 yards per carry. If that happens every game UW goes 11-1.RealRhino said:Running game is shit, McGary not playing well
But sure, when the running game is actually shit it's solely Mcgary's fault. It's impossible that one offensive lineman out five could be doing a good job while the collective O-line is not. People are dumb. -
It seemed like the OL played like shit when I watched the first time, so I took another look and was validated. Kaleb didn't look great, but Watty, Harris, and Roberts had downright bad games. Watty is probably the most disappointing to me, given his experience and generally decent play last year. A couple other thoughts, and then some examples of shittiness.
- Roberts played more than I remembered, but I thought Hilbers had a better game
- We miss Dissly badly. Sample is fine, but doesn't hold his blocks very long, and Otton is not quite there yet
- Bain wasn't much of an improvement over Watty
- Utah had some pretty good interior DLs

Harris practicing the Brayden Dickey school of blocking:

That’s not what you said you dense ratfuck. You tried to claim that McGary’s family situation is the cause of his “poor” play in these first three games. That’s Skip Bayless dogshit conjecture, and it’s somehow beneath the subterranean standards that we have on this shithole of a board. Be better.BeerThirty said:

Loads of inexperience on the OL right now and Hamdan calling too many lateral and screen plays before they have the footwork & moves down. Keep things simple, put some dive plays in the playbook, limit the RPO's, forget the screens for now, and have Gaskin run a few wheel routes. It's not that complicated, but Hamdan is putting too much on the plate for these guys right now.

Ratfuck, that is a good one. May I use that term in the future? I don't want to step on your toes or anything. Let me know soon though. Thanks!GreenRiverGatorz said:
