In the final matchup in the GameChangers division, we've got another prime time matchup with Randy Travis going against Brooks & Dunn. Similar to the Alan Jackson vs Kenny Rogers matchup, you've got a battle of the highest end songs (Travis) against a deeper catalogue (Brooks & Dunn).
Randy Travis
Easily one of the most distinctive voices in the history of Country Music. If you aren't a fan of "Forever and Ever, Amen" then you don't like Country Music. He's an owner of over 25 major Awards and is a Country Music Hall of Famer. His lack of longevity is somewhat explained by transferring over into the Christian Music genre in the early 2000s before getting back in trouble with the law in 2012 and having a stroke in 2013 that left him unable to perform for 3 years. However, at his height, Randy Travis is hard to beat.

Brooks & Dunn
Continuing the path that Alabama and The Judds laid as powerful duos/groups in Country Music, Brooks & Dunn transformed from relatively unaccomplished solo acts into 20 #1 hits, 45 awards (combined Grammy's, CMA's, and Academy of Country Music), and 2 songs of the year ("My Maria" and "Ain't Nothing About You"). Over a 20 year career together as a duo with accomplishments that are endless earning praise as the "greatest duo in the history of country music," perhaps the most interesting tidbit to me is that they've had songs used in campaigns for both George W. Bush and Barack Obama (talk about crossing party lines).

Randy TravisThis is basically the last matchup where I understand what is happening. Once we get into the 2000s and beyond I will be completely worthless.
-

It’s too bad you won’t get a chance to vote on Tim McGraw who has sold more records, more concert tickets and has the hottest wife of anyone in this tourney.YellowSnow said:This is basically the last matchup where I understand what is happening. Because I guaran-fucking-tee you know his song library better than these two (technically 3) ass clowns.

Brooks & DunnTough call. Randy was good for a time but B&D had a longer run for me. Although they look like full on makeup ass cakes if you look too long.
