I watched a midget play quarterback today

His name is Kyler Murray. He has the build of an undersized second baseman, but can read progressions, is poised in the pocket, and he throws lasers in every corner of the field. He’s also faster than the Hesiman winner he’s replacing.
Jake Haener is probably a poor man’s version of Murray, and who really gives a shit if he lit up a bunch of warm corpses like North Dakota. But Browning struggled against those same warm corpses and has so clearly hit his ceiling that the best we can hope for this year is to scrape out a conference title in the worst P5 conference in college football. Those don’t sound like high stakes to me. Fuck it, give Haener a shot.

It doesn't matter what the fucking competition is when the QB is throwing perfect passes that only his WRs can catch. Those passes that Haener threw today would have been completions against anybody. I don't need to see more. Talent is talent. Haener is better than Browning and gives this team a better chance to win.

It's not.
I"m fine with starting Haener because we know who Browning is, but crowning Haener is way tf premature.
