CENTRAL LOSES NAILBITER TO EASTERN
CENTRAL HOLDS EASTERN OFFENSE IN CHECK JUST LIKE THE HUSKIES, in the 50s

Central did lose the game, but the reason was that most of the team was huddled around sideline monitors watching the UW - Auburn game (that was actually the "nailbiting" part).
Had the game been played in Ellensburg without the distractions we ? would have won, rather easily, say 34 - 17?
