This. Just redshirt him. Let him protect Eason. I do hope for the kids sake he hasn't fucked his draft status someday with two years of back to back injuries. That sucks, but Hilbers looked plenty comfortable out there. We’ve also heard plenty of praise for Roberts and Bain at that LT spot, so it’s surprisingly become one our deeper positions.

How many 6’ 8” 320 lineman have multiple back injuries and still play football? I’m thinking not many. Best of luck to him.
A bit disappointed no one mentioned his long term health, but not suprised.
