Congress has become a problem too. The founders should have created a mechanism for the American people to REMOVE all representatives and senators simultaneously in the event of a constitutional crisis when the leaders of the country have become so out of control and extreme in their policy viewpoints that they put the nation in real danger of collapsing. Wipe out the establishment and all the power they have consolidated through their corruption and start over with a clean slate. Hold elections and get fresh faces in there. Make term limits permanent.

That does not a civil war make.

Not everyone in the government is a member of the anti-Trump machine. Some kind of coup would have to happen if they really try to take down an elected President using these illegal means. That's not America. That's something else.

That, or most people are like you, desensitzed from movies and not getting or caring what's really going on behind the scenes, until one day you wake up in a country where you can be arrested just for speech.

I don't know what would happen. It's not good either way.
