Unlike Pete, he wins his bowl games. #TuiForever
-
i wish he stayed on the staff

Has Tui been on the coaching staff of every Pac-12 team yet? That's a pretty rare XBox achievement

I remember when Lambo turned him loose in the Oregon game after forcing him to stay in the pocket the first half

In what capacity? And when and how has he proven himself a good position coach? Examples.WeakarmCobra said:i wish he stayed on the staff

He seems to be a decent recruiter and been a decent TE coach or something. Also he gave us 2001, probably that is the biggest reasonGladstone said:

I think he was offered the te position but declined but I could be wrong.Gladstone said:

I have zero idea if he is a good coach or recruiter though. He has like 3 different titles right now at cal so he is probably one of their better paid offensive assistants after Baldwin but I am not sure he is that coveted by other schools. -
Tui loves Tui too much, nuff said.

People forget that he decided to play baseball instead. People forget that.

And he couldnt crack the two deeps at LB on an Ed Donatell led defense.picalogestabo said:People forget that he decided to play baseball instead. People forget that.

This is the thing. What made Tui Tui simply cannot be coached or taught. You either have it or you don't. Vision, feel, balls, tuffness. Pickett was a specimen compared to Tui and wasn't half as effective, especially running the option. Tui was a made-up 4.6 guy ... I think he was closer to 4.8 or worse, but the kid could run that offense. Even on a bum leg, he ran Furd into the ground.RaceBannon said:I remember when Lambo turned him loose in the Oregon game after forcing him to stay in the pocket the first half
Shit like that can't be taught. Has nothing to do with teaching. You have it or you don't. -
But can it be taught?creepycoug said:
