Tanned, rested, and ready. After parting ways with Chris Peterson, UW hands the reigns to seasoned coach, Pat Hill.

UW Athletic Director Jen Cohen made the decision to replace Chris Peterson after two consecutive disappointing seasons.
"We needed to get TUFFER," Cohen said. "Coach Hill is well respected, and committed to a power running game." Cohen made the decision, getting input from boosters and Dawgman.com, known for positive views of Cohen and the Husky program in general.
"It was told to me, Coach Hill would crawl through glass, NAKED, to coach Washington. We need our coaches to be all in. Coach Hill's TUFFNESS reminds me of the old Don James' teams."
Cohen was willing to look past Hill's 112-80 coaching record. "We believe Coach Hill will take us to the next level," Cohen said. "With the players currently in our program, 2023 is shaping up to be special." -
