    Most of Army's talent has spent the last decade over in the Middle East getting blown up by IEDs. So that could account for it....

    This is the most overrated, overhyped game in American sports outside of the NFC LEast. And Skankees/Red Cox.

    It hasn't been relevant since people watched black and white TVs.

    There was a good doc on the 63 game a couple weeks after JFK went half brain. That was the first one I remember. Staubach won the Heisman and got smoked by Texas in the Cotton. That was the last national power by either academy.

    Bellini won the Heisman in 60 and Navy gave the Huskies their only loss.

    Army won a shit load of nattys thru the 50's

    I'll watch NBA before this game.. well okay, I probably won't, in December at least. Still, teams not named Washington need to be good for a compelling game. Navy is okay now, but they both need to be top 25 to garner interest.

    My Navy dad, who killed many Viet Cong from the comfort of his A-6, took me to the Army-Navy game at JFK Stadium in 1974 when I was 12. Navy won that one, too. Saw President Ford. Just remember his head looked huge, and the hair he had was flare red. Had my first shot of bourbon that day, and thought I would die. But I had such a good time that dad thought I wanted to fly jets and kill Russians or something because he set me up for a trip to Annapolis shortly after that. I just remember thinking, "when I go to college, I'd like there to be girls."

    So yeah, the game and teams have sucked in this series for decades. But I still think it's cool, brah.
