I’m for secure borders (wall in some areas, border patrol in others) and I’m for short term tariffs as a means to bring the other countries to the negotiating table. After negotiations I expect free trade. Our? career politicians have made so many poor decisions that we? need someone like Trump to reset international economic expectations.CirrhosisDawg said:

I’m a disillusioned Republican that leans Libertarian. I’m for term limits of 12 years, per House, so a candidate could serve no more than 24 years in public service (plus presidency) and would be forced to make a living in the economy they helped create. I’d like to see their medical and retirement benefits get changed to match those that are provided to the military. -

You're the one who brought up how she should be able to meet with her constituents in this thread. Multiple times. I agree.
Then you brought up how the presence of the press can be a threat to illegal immigrants. Which may well be true.
But by definition illegal immigrants are not her constituents, unless you're arguing that they vote anyway, which would be a very off brand argument for you.
And if the politican wants to provide a setting that makes those people feel more comfortable voicing their concerns then that is also fine.
