The article sourced in your link was corrected to indicated that there were over 3700 registered voters in that precinct. An 18% voter turnout.

Habersham County went 81% Trump in 2016 btw.

This really just shows that we aren't ready for electronic voting. Vote by mail or die.

They reported correctly. I guess you missed where it was the secretary of states office that had the wrong numbers. You're shitty at reading news sources.

And reputable news source would have verified the numbers before publishing. Dumbfuck.

Vote by mail is the only way to go. But I’m hearing it may be rayciss to require a stamp be put on it. JWIHSDT

It’s dumb. Which is why WA state removed the required stamp on ballots. Or are you in favor of the gubmint getting a cut of your right to vote?

    Postage on ballots are prepaid.

I suppose licking the security envelope puts lesbians in a conflicted spot but other than that there shouldn’t be a problem.

We’ve already established that IDs are too hard!!! And I guess .50 to a quasi government entity is too HARD now as well.

Lemme know what else we need to do to make voting less HARD!!!

Maybe a pack of Kools to seal the deal???

It’s not in Oregon. Despite our inability to pump our own gas, somehow we figured out how to lick a stamp.

    Of course there's voter fraud.

There has been since the beginning of time

When one person has a shitload to gain or lose by the results of something like this, of course some people are gonna cheat.

    It's not a partisan thing.

It’s an unnecessary barrier. Who keeps stamps in their house anymore? I don’t.

What’s lazy is propping up some stupid system for no reason whatsoever. Name one reason in support of requiring a stamp on a mail in ballot.

Too lazy to pop over to the local polling place? Then pay for a damn stamp! I think all voting should be in person with a physical record of the vote and verified by identification. It's that flipping important.

I'm lazy as fuck and grateful that I don't have to find a stamp.

Aren’t all WA votes now by mail in ballots? We just dropped ours off at a collection box, outside a QFC, a couple of weeks ago.

Yes. The new thing is King County paying for the postage for voters there and the state government paying for the postage for voters in other counties.

Does King County pay for stamps for dead voters too?

    @DinoRossiDawg, thoughts?

It’s nice that you FEEL that way. But it’s the other way. As long as it is, the stamp is dumb. Anyone that says otherwise is a government stooge.

    I didn't argue it's a poll tax. The courts decided it's a poll tax.
