  I don't understand why the hitters drop the bat on their way to first base...shouldn't they use it to help them get onto and around the bases?

  Someone who watches 9 innings of a baseball game lives a miserable and pathetic life. I enjoy highlights, but I haven't watched an inning of baseball for probably 5 years. Soccer is just as bad.

  Say what you want about soccer, but it's nice to know within 5 minutes when a game is going to end.
