Fuck, I thought this had to do with the deaths in the family and he would be in Seattle in a couple of days.
The other downside is this could make Pete even more averse to recruiting higher drama guys. -
LOL at Jood and all the other fuckhead journalists who bought the bullshit "family issues...lost 20 lbs" bullshit that came straight from Kaho's crooked fathers mouth. They bought that shit hook. line. sinker.CuntWaffle said:Leveraging your kids athletic abilities to help pay for a divorce... what a piece of shit.
That story is complete horseshit! Kaho is completely fine and wants to go to UW. Dad see's an opportunity for $$$$ and puts out the sad sack story of Kaho having tons of problems and family issues.
FUCK THAT GUY! He's the biggest roadblock in the situation so he needs to stay the fuck out of his sons life you god damn piece of shit! -
Guess we should have just taken Ben Wilson. Whoops!

Roof has to be reaching here. If the dad is walking around asking for money and Roof can find out this info from her sources in a few hours than so can anyone else. Saban and Crystoballz aren't dumb enough to mess with that.GaryFromTeenMom said:Here is the scoop....
We can report that the story about Kaho having lost “20 pounds” is not true. He weighed 215 when he left for Reno. So, at the most, it was a three-pound loss (and it’s normal considering the stress he’s been through).
The info about him “not eating” is not true either — it’s more about not being able to work out. There’s no question that the kid is stressed out; two family members suddenly passing away is tough on any teenager.
His parents have been going through a divorce since last spring — but here’s what’s disturbing about this: His father, Hopate, had been calling up other player’s parents asking to borrow large sums of money due to his situation with the divorce.
Thankfully, the parents who were approached turned him down and wanted nothing to do with it. One parent we know of went to UW and told them this had transpired so it might be reported to compliance.
While that, in itself, is not “illegal” — but it suggests a financial burden that the father of Kaho is experiencing and from what we’ve gathered this evening.
Remember when he signed, his mother went on Twitter and asked other schools to leave her son alone? There’s always been something rather unsettling about this.
At this point, it’s unknown if Kaho will return to Washington or not. We know, for a fact, that Ale — himself — did everything he needed to do to get into Washington and become a Husky. This was his dream. But it was true that, all through the process, Kaho’s parents were not completely sold because they wanted him to go to Brigham Young and receive an LDS-centered education.
Is that what will happen now? We don’t know. We do know that he’s home and that he, himself, was looking forward to beginning his career at Washington.
He might be getting paid, especially if he goes to BAMA or Oregon, but doubt she has confirmed any of this.

"There are "family reasons" to which Chris Petersen alluded to earlier, but his release request goes beyond that, from what I've gathered."
"No, I don't think it had anything to do with second thoughts. There were some factors that I can't really get into that led to his request to be released."
That to me sounds like he knows....but is trying to be good boy reporter and not spill any of the beans otherwise he might not get his stipend from another school, either.

Perhaps, just maybe, that's why Petersmen worded it the way he did this morning. Things change all the tim.purpledoogfan said:

So we can read into this a few ways, assuming this is true which I suppose it might not be.
1. This is a VERY recent development
2. Kaho had little if anything to do with this specific decision for release
3. Kaho has been playing this extremely close to the chest
4. Said wife is on the mom's side and this is all coming from the dad
5. Didn't want to get into trouble for bagmen and so sisters with leaky faucet mouth husbands were kept out of the loop
6. This guy is trolling Cam Williams
7. One or more of the above -
J Lei should go swimming in the McKenzie some time.

Pete will become an even bigger pussy on the recruiting trail than he already is POTD.RoadDawg55 said:As good as Kaho is, I'm not sure if Pete would be willing to put up with pops if the allegations are true.

Maybe I'm not interpreting this right but to me it just sounds like he's congratulating Cam on his commitment and name dropped Kaho cause of a connection.jhfstyle24 said:

anyone have a good xanax hookup in the bay area? pm me
-
If this kid honestly tries to back out 2 days before camp, UW should deny his release, just for spite.
-
Just go to Apothecarium and buy like 6 edibles and take them all straight to the face. Same thing.Gladstone said:anyone have a good xanax hookup in the bay area? pm me

If what the media says is going on is actually going on then you have to give him his release. That being said, giving him his release contingent on him not signing with another pac 12 team seems totally reasonable.Baphomet said:If this kid honestly tries to back out 2 days before camp, UW should deny his release, just for spite.

Why do you have to give him his release? If football is truly the last thing on his mind because all this stuff is going on, what does he need a football scholarship to another school for? I wouldn't give shit.ToddTurnerLIVES said:

Piecing things together from several sources has Kaho and those close to him looking to exit without restrictions. Kaho himself, apparently now, is making claims of broken promises. Deceit, etc.
The family assures UW they will publically laud the school as long as their boy is released.
While true, the Kaho family has been through two trying months, Kaho’s purported despondency, lost weight, and disappearing smile are “all a smoke screen” I’m told.
The Duckies are trying to pry him away. In the end they’ll fall short. Not for trying but Eugene’s west coast location doesn’t offer the refuge Kaho and his family on his behalf are seeking. Also, Pete might be an OKG but he’s not TKG.
Kaho, sources close to the family tell Baseman, needs time (a few days at least) to get his head together. When he does, in his best interest he’ll want some distance and leave the bad memories—the turmoil (throat clearing) —behind.
New Attitude. New perspective. Where will he land?
Iona, is one consideration. Although the Kahos haven’t given much thought, given the pall hanging over this unfortunate set of circumstances, Tuscaloosa is another consideration.
Tosh Lupoi, seen by many young men, as a mentor might be the cure for what ales young Ale.
Tosh really cares about the players. His handwritten letters, filling mailboxes around the country. His personal touch. The great bonds he makes with each and every player entrusted to him. Even when Kaho chose UW, Tosh, graciously, told him he and his family had a home In Tuscaloosa if things changed.
With a nurturing alumni and support system second to none, Alabama seems to check all the boxes.
Small southern town, full of kind well mannered folks. Exactly the kind of crowd you’d want your son to play in front of. More importantly, the perfect place for a young man desperately seeking stability and an escape from the bad memories out west.
Although dad doesnt like to fly, son comes first. Whatever the boy needs, im hearing.

Broken promises? WTF?
