    No, no it's ridiculous to think that the Dems have a split. The farther left the Progressives can push the platform the more they will rally their base and capture the electorate. That's how American elections are won, by pandering to the extremists in your base.
    Elections are won by pandering to the big donors and getting the independents to agree that's the right platform.

    Dems are awful at elections. But they won the over yards battle in the last election so there's that.
