Drake is both overrated and underrated. He always seems to add a little something to every song and at the same time I don't love any of his stuff the way I do with other rappers. He is incredibly popular despite not having incredible musical talent. He got his ass whipped by Pusha T with the Story of Adidon which was funny as hell but Scorpion is super popular. He often jumps in for a verse, takes over the song, and then lets the group or other individual act do their thing.

Kid Cudi has never really been on top of the game but his recent collabs with Kanye were incredible. He's original and creative, which I value a shit ton in the rap game right now.

    Drake's songs for the past 5 years all sound the same. He is, IMHO, completely representative of how cookie cutter and unimaginative the music industry has become.

    Really tough one for me. I'm an unapologetic Drake stan but his last three albums/projects have been trash. Although Cudi was awful for 8 years until Kanye saved him.

    Cudi has a higher, and more interesting peak, but he's put out a LOT of really bad music. Drake's run from TML-Take Care-NWTS-WATTBA-IYRTITL was phenomenal. I'm going with Drake. He's had a more consistent career, and his ability to turn any song he's featured on into a hit is pretty unparalleled.

    Cudi's music isn't as disposable as Drake's. I like Drake too and when people say he sucks, it's an indictment on their intelligence. He's a brilliant talent and it's wrong to say otherwise.

    I just personally like Cudi more. I'm a big fan of Cudi and like his experimental stuff and persona way more than Drake.
