16. Beastie BoysNWA is more important the evolution of the genre and I know the words to the hits by heart.
But I'm white, slow strategy as fuck and went to UW in the mid 90's. The b-boys were the soundtrack of my college days. Is what it is. -
1. NWAUPDATE:

16. Beastie Boyslmaooooo lets go

1. NWAThis shit is seriously embarrassing.

I told you this was a recipe for disaster. The people are dumb and will make dumb choices if given the opportunity.dnc said:This shit is seriously embarrassing.

Hilary thought she had the election all sewn up too.

16. Beastie Boyshey dnc guess who's fault it is for seeing beastie boys vs nwa in the first round to make a statement?
-
1. NWAThis is the worst first round match up of all time. BBoys aren’t a 16 ever! Second BBoys should be classified as ‘90s.
-
1. NWA
There isn't a single act ahead of them they objectively would rate ahead of.DeepSeaZ said:This is the worst first round match up of all time. BBoys aren’t a 16 ever! Second BBoys should be classified as ‘90s.
And a) most of the Beasties biggest hits were in the 80s. Seriously, they have like two big songs post 1989 (and that's if you count Sabotage). Brassy Monkey, Fight For Your Right, Girls, No Sleep, Hey Ladies, Paul Revere are all 80's songs b) ground rules dictate they're an 80's act for these purposes.
NWA was much closer to being in the 90s bracket than the B Bois. -
16. Beastie Boysobjectively rate? this is music not a cancer vaccination. it's all subjective.
-
16. Beastie BoysWell, it's early in the ball game and there's an army of alts who haven't even gotten wind of this fight.

Also, none of the bored's esteemed minorities have voted yet and all of them should be voting the right way, save probably @Mad_Son.
It's not over for NWA! -
1. NWAJesus guys, come on now. Of ALL the 16-1 you choose this to be the upset? Kodak over Nas (Nas is NOT a fucking 10's one seed @dnc, wtf)? Sure, have at it. But fuck off with this one
-
1. NWAAsian delegation is heard from!
Counting on Roadie to ride with NWA, at least until a potential matchup with Wu Tang.

1. NWAI should have went with Beastie Boys. Much better party songs and I'm not listening to either by myself.
This should go in controversial opinions, but 80's rap is mostly boom bap garbage. Dre is also extremely overrated. Not a lot of his stuff passes the test of time. -
1. NWA
Dre doesn't have a lot of stuff. What does he have, 3 albums and one of them was like 2 years ago? The Chronic holds up chincredibly well, IMO. 2001 had some good chit on it.RoadDawg55 said:I should have went with Beastie Boys. Much better party songs and I'm not listening to either by myself.

He's a legendary producer more than an emcee. And he's the GOAT producer for my money.
Lyrically NWA was more about Eazy and Cube than Dre. -

I didn't want to music nerd too hard, but the G Funk rap beats are meh.dnc said:

I can't remember where my keys are in the mornings, but I remembered reading that a few years ago.
