Nas in the 10s? I get Outkast in the 00s even tho it makes me wanna puke (southernplayalistic bitches). But man Nas was huge in the 90s.

Also. No whitey? Maklemore? Fuck off. No sir mix a lot? Why do you hate Seattle?

And Eminem destroys Jay Z. But it's a 2 vs 3 so I'll let that one slide.

I'm not even getting to how public enemy is the most overated hip hop group ever.

That and you know I can't read.

Slick Rick. Ice cube. Ice T. 2 live crew. All better if you are talking about the music.

If you want to talk about importance or other things you might have an argument. But they had shitty music.

I’m surprised the lack of Migos hasn’t caused a riot

Only reason I'd slot them on the bracket is for influence, not quality

Good chit @dnc. While they didn't make it into a stacked 80s bracket, Whodini is one of my personal faves

80s and 90s had some talent that got left out - Salt N Pepa, Naughty by Nature, Queen Latifah....but in the end they weren't going to upset the blue bloods. KRS-One a 6 seed is fucking criminal that they have to go up against Run DMC in the 2nd round. KRS-One would dominate the 10s bracket

And now the B boys are going to win. My prediction is that you end up regretting you ever made this whole thing.

I love the Beastie Boys, but if they beat NWA, you might as well just shut this whole shithole down.

Jesus fuck. This could be broken down into two different tournaments. 80s and 90s are stacked and the raps styles are totally different than 00s on.

E40 gonna make a Cinderella run to the Final 4! Has his fingerprints all over the last 30 years of the rap industry. I'm going to the Old School Jam concert tonight in Kent to pay homage to the king of the Yay Area.

BTW, his biggest commercial hits were in the 00's.

Yeah I should have moved him to a later bracket good call.

He’s the nizzle fo shizzle. OG.

Tim Dawg says hi from the grave. That’s a supremely influential late 80’s, east coast crew.

Egregious omission (that somehow no one caught) alert:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFcv5Ma8u8k

He was in earlier editions of the bracket but somehow got omitted on an edit before the final draft.

Since his last big hits were on 2001 (which was released in 1999) he belongs in the 90's bracket. And since the 90's bracket voting hasn't started, as czar of this here rap battle I'm going to right this wrong and get Dre in where he belongs. RoadDawg needs to have someone to vote against anyway.

    New 90s Bracket

    1. TuPac
    2. Biggie Smalls
    3. Ice Cube
    4. Wu Tang Clan
    5. Bone Thugs N Harmony
    6. Dr Dre
    7. E40
    8. Too Short (had him seeded TOO HIGH originally)
    9. Geto Boys
    10. A Tribe Called Quest
    11. Goodie Mobb
    12. Mobb Deep
    13. Eazy E
    14. Lauryn Hill
    15. Old Dirty Bastard
    16. Warren G

Thankfully I did not cave to anyone's demands, I caught the mistake and fixed it myself.
