Let's not bury the lede here, the most highly anticipated matchup.
Gangsta rap versus party rock.
Black power versus white people.
DNC vs YellowSnow.
@Dennis_DeYoung vs @MadSon.
You know what to do.

16. Beastie BoysNWA is more important the evolution of the genre and I know the words to the hits by heart.
But I'm white, slow strategy as fuck and went to UW in the mid 90's. The b-boys were the soundtrack of my college days. Is what it is. -

16. Beastie Boyshey dnc guess who's fault it is for seeing beastie boys vs nwa in the first round to make a statement?

1. NWAThis is the worst first round match up of all time. BBoys aren’t a 16 ever! Second BBoys should be classified as ‘90s.

There isn't a single act ahead of them they objectively would rate ahead of.DeepSeaZ said:This is the worst first round match up of all time. BBoys aren’t a 16 ever! Second BBoys should be classified as ‘90s.
And a) most of the Beasties biggest hits were in the 80s. Seriously, they have like two big songs post 1989 (and that's if you count Sabotage). Brassy Monkey, Fight For Your Right, Girls, No Sleep, Hey Ladies, Paul Revere are all 80's songs b) ground rules dictate they're an 80's act for these purposes.
NWA was much closer to being in the 90s bracket than the B Bois.
