Write inMy favorite is still my first...1990 at home vs the ducks.
I was in my 2nd year out of HS and trying to decide where/what I wanted to do. i was already a college football fan but had no real allegiance to UW other than them being one of two in state achools who I rooted for and was considering attending. I had friends at UW though, and had taken note of the stirrings of real excitement following "all I saw was purple".
So...my friend was in with the Asian/Islander crowd thanks to his roomate assignment in the dorms the previous year, and the friday night party I arrived to at his apartment had 5 smoking hot chicks for every one dude. I got nearly pants shittingly drunk but still followed two dark skinned, long black haired, big eyed chicks to their apartment in the wee hours and hooked up with one of them. I think she fell asleep before I sealed the deal but I was still too excited to sleep. Somehow I stumbled back to the right apartment just as the sun rose and crashed on the chair with a full beer and empty bong tucked between my legs.
My friends had to wake me a couple of hours before kickoff. All of us were still wasted but we swilled down a few more beers and headed off toward Husky Stadium. I really don't remember much after that. We had ridiculous, 50ish yard line seats in the student section. That I remember. I remember a lot of noise, a Dana Hall pick, a long TD run by Greg Lewis, and not much else. It was a dominant win and the atmosphere was eye opening for me.
Needless to say I committed on the spot. That game is rarely if ever mentioned among the great ones, but it was mind bogglingly awesome from my perspective. I saw every home game over the next two years but that's the one that stands out most for me.
