What is sad is that Ellison is half right. There are people here who want illegals for cheap labor without benefits or protection to keep REAL Americans wages down as well. And to vote for Democrats

We’ve gone over this a million times. Congress, trump and the daily caller can rile the mob into a frenzy and waste billions on enforcement. They can’t, however, interrupt the economic laws of supply and demand.
Moreover, there’s no way California goes along with this nativist / protectionist bullshit. Thus, spin your wheels with all your might but nothing is going to change that fact.
Comprehensive reform is the only plausible solution.
“Open borders” is a great rallying cry and political slogan for the backward-wayward lot of Americans society. Like everything backed by trump and his supporters, however, it is meaningless in substance, practice and reality.
