UW needs to stop marketing to people that are never really going to give a shit about sports anyways. The same people that will cheer UW for hosting the special Olympics on twitter and applaud us in the media for being "a beacon of inclusivity" are never going to bother buying tickets to actually WATCH those same sports they want highlighted.
It's the same bullshit with the PAC 12 Channels. Oh great, 3 hours of Women's collegiate soccer. I'm sure that the entire gender studies alumni network bought subscriptions to SlingTV just to be able to watch this.
