Can't take any of this seriously when a couple of those guys think the ducks will score 38 and 35 points on our* defense. Ain't happenin'.

lmaoooo
please allah let oregon be undefeated going into this game -
They have Justin Herbert. Rumor is if he stayed healthy they win 11 games last year. Oregon fans are quick to remind everyone that he is an NFL quarterback. Think about it, a professional is choosing to play with amateurs seems like one hell of an advantage. Forget the Boise State game for a moment, that was an obvious abberation to a Heisman favorite.Stinky_Hankey said:Can't take any of this seriously when a couple of those guys think the ducks will score 38 and 35 points on our* defense. Not to mention that Cristoball is obviously better coach than Pete. It's crazy that he was just an assistant to the great Willie Taggart.
They also went from losing by 49 to just 35 without Herbert!. Point differential trajectory seems to be pointing in their direction.
I for one can definitely see the possibility of Oregon fans saying that they were definitely better team this year despite the score because Herbert wasn't surrounded by enough veterans on the outside but next year they will get is for sure as they lose only by 20 this time.

UW is going to get absolutely dominated physically against Auburn. They have a new play caller on both offense and defense, which is absurd on the defensive side. Vea is gone so no more double teams on every play. Gaines is strong but way too slow to warrant that. Pettis is gone so the automatic field position win is gone.
In 2016 the Ducks had a trifecta of no S&C program, mediocre recruiting, and a D-coordinator who didn't understand how a 7-gap defense works.
In 2017 the Ducks didn't have a QB and Taggart was trying to be cool repetitively punting the ball to Pettis.
If Herbert is healthy in week 6 the recruiting has been there for the last two years, they've been actually lifting for two years, and the DC is very good now. Verdell is going to be the bell cow by this game and is going to be an elite back.
Unless there is a barrage of injuries or a bunch of freak turnovers this should be a 31-28ish type game. I could see the Ducks on either side of the score. Neither team knows how to win tough ball games as neither of their rosters have experienced one. -

We really respect UW down here at USC. I think they will beat you guys rather easily and run away with the north this year. We are looking forward to playing them for the conference title. -

last year while limiting the damage that Myles Gaskin could do on the ground
Yeah they really limited him to 7.2 yards per rush. Impressive! -

BONEM now more than ever...

You don’t want see Leavitt when he’s mad.

Couldn't Chin this enough. 17 carries for 123 yards is limiting a running back?Bread said:last year while limiting the damage that Myles Gaskin could do on the ground

"Hey, they pulled their starting RB from the game, we totally limited him to under 150 yards!" -
Oregon is definitely going to put up 35+ on UW. No doubt about it. Live look at Matt Prehm's brain cells discussing the pick before actually putting his dumbass fingers on a keyboard and posting it

Oregon 38 Leg Lifters 24 as Troy Dye and our whole D gives that puke of a QB a real bad day. Game Ball Jim Leavitt.

The last time any team scored 38 on Washington was in 2014 - so good luck with that.
bigducker
Lets see, last year we basically had NO QB ( a true freshman that couldn’t hit the water in a boat). When we played you the year before we had a true freshman starting his FIRST d1 game. If I were you I wouldn't be so confident, you will see a much different Duck team than the last 2 years -

Washington isn't big enough up front on either side of the ball.
Oregon will wear them down.

There is no way Meatball Mario is going to run the ball with Herbert as his QB. No way.PurpleJ said:ChicoDuck
