Different situation, those are kids who came here unaccompanied, which is still an issue. Obviously they can't be kept in a facility with their parents. Instead, mandatory 12 month sentence for anyone captured illegally in the US. If they have children deport them back over.
That will slow the flow of illegal immigrants and gradually draw down the prison complex over time and those people can find new jobs. The timber industry just went through something similar over the last 15 years.
