Questions for a 1st time visitor to UW game...

I just wanted to reach out and get some information, if possible, regarding coming to a game. My wife's father moved to Seattle (Ballard area) in 2016 and we've been coming out to visit each year. We love all the activities within a couple hour drives of Seattle (we did Mt Rainier and the San Juan Islands previously) This year we realized we will be in town when UW hosts ASU (Sept. 22, 2018). As a big time college football fan, I'm always interested in catching a game and how other fanbases do game day...so I have a few questions about coming to the game:
1. A look on the schedule tells me the game time is TBD. Any idea when the time will be known? Any guesses to give me a general idea?
2. Best way to come up to campus on game day from Ballard... Uber? Busline? Other?
3. Should we buy tickets beforehand, whats the scalper situation like? We would prefer to not spend more than $50/pp if possible? Is this realistic? Any good sections to look in?
4. Any pre game festivities that we should definitely look out for? I've heard the boats doc right up by the stadium and tailgate. Sounds pretty awesome.
Any info would be much appreciated.

1. A look on the schedule tells me the game time is TBD. Any idea when the time will be known? Any guesses to give me a general idea? Usually around 5pm China Standard Time
2. Best way to come up to campus on game day from Ballard... Uber? Busline? Other? Hitch a ride with Fotu Leiato
3. Should we buy tickets beforehand, whats the scalper situation like? @Swaye is the official HH scalper (don't let @pawz tell you any differently). Let @Swaye know what you're looking for and he'll take good care of you. Will probably even throw in burning your village to the ground. We would prefer to not spend more than $50/pp if possible? Is this realistic? Any good sections to look in? Section14a is where all the REAL fans sit
4. Any pre game festivities that we should definitely look out for? I've heard the boats doc right up by the stadium and tailgate. Sounds pretty awesome. Yes

Kinda a locals-only secret, go down to the Piek's Place market and order a fish. Ask them nicely and they might even throw it to you.

1. The game is in Tempe.
2. Look into the ribs and rickshaw special from the Ram in U-Village. Can get a ride to the stadium on an actual rickshaw. -
Be sure to tip @RoadDawg55-san, he's pulling for all he's worthUWhuskytskeet said:1. The game is in Tempe.

Welcome to Seattle!
We have a great local chain here called Shari's. Their breakfast and pies are absolutely to die for! You must...must go there.
Pregame festivities is easily the Ribs N Rickshaw special at The Ram. $13.99 All You Can Eat Ribs with a rickshaw ride to the game! -
My services ALWAYS come with burning your village to the ground.

Mcruny, don't listen to these jokers, they think it's REALLY funny to give bogus info to out-or-towners attending games. I'll hook you up.
1. We won't know until about a month prior to the game the actual game time. The P12 scheduling is really fucked up but we learn to deal with it.
2. Ballard is really close to the stadium so you should just walk.
3. We have the best scalpers in all of college football, tons of good deals to be had. You need to find my guy K-Tron. He usually works on the Montlake Bridge. You can't miss him, he's about 6'4 280 and has a teardrop tattoo under his right eye. I'll let him know you're my guy and he'll hook you up. He may ask that you follow him to a secluded area to transact business but that's only because he's gonna give you a great deal. Whatever you do, DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT with him, he hates that. If you have a pretty wife he'll likely give you a GREAT deal.
4. My favorite Husky Tradition is to go to the Renton Massage Parlor pre game. Ask for the Mitch In The Morning Special. You and you father-in-law will love it.
Hope you guys have a great Husky Football experience. You'll never forget it. -

Be sure to stop by the E1 porking lot on your way to the game and we can share a drink and tell war stories. I will be wearing my new altered Gaskin jersey, holding a red Solo cup and playing beer shoes.

Definitely go to the International District and have a drink @ the Wah Mee. Killer place.

I would hit the Met or Daniels for steak. Anthony's or Ray's for Seafood. Alki Tavern has the best burger in town. Northlake tavern has great pizza and cold beer and you can walk to the game from there.
The Ram at U village has an incredible "Ribs 'n Rickshaw" special $15.99 all you can eat and a ride to the game in a rickshaw. Plus they have a lot of cool HD TV's so you can hang with your peeps and catch some other games.
If you like to have a few "sodas" you can can carry them around in a big red cup.
Don't forget to go to the Space Needle. Hit the Underground tour. Visit the Locks. Go to the Experience Music Project. Visit Pike Place Market and see the flying fish and the big piggy bank. Hit the Seattle Art Museum. Don't forget to go to the Seattle Center Fun Forest. Oh,and walk down to the water front. Go to Ivars. Get the large chowder. -

The quickest way to Husky Stadium from Ballard would probably be on the “Ride the Ducks” tour.
I’d recommend grabbing a pregame meal at the Jack in the Box on 50th and the Ave. -

If you are interested in checking out the favorite haunts of UW legend Steve Sarkisian make sure to go to Joey’s. Best Patron in town!

I hear that Seattle finally finished the monorail, so that seems like an efficient way to get to Montlake from Ballard.
Check out the Montlake Spite House while your there!
