Ducks know all about the hard knocks of fielding teams that historically were among college football's best, only to fall short of a natty by three points, or knock off the defending champs in a playoff game then fuck up the next outing. Getting through a 12 game season, winning a conference championship and a playoff game takes more gusto than being voted a title by a bunch of blue-blood-biased-bitches without ever setting foot on the field and playing the natty game. Voted titles are devalued currency. Oregon's teams accomplished more than most of those chumps from the past who were given titles after 8 game seasons and never had to actually play the nation's best teams to win a title. Quooks don't respect or acknowledge voted titles for these reasons, and never will. Go back in tim, play the 91 Canes and beat them, or win a title on the field if you want to be acknowledged in the same light as USC, who won their only real title on the field.
