Freedom of the press doesn't work on his employer. His paper has every right to publish what it wants, and if he wanted to be a snarky jerk about it, his employer had every right to fire him. Same as always...

The only topic I can remember recently on here about that is Roseanne. And I supported the networks decision, because they had the right to do whatever the fuck they wanted. Just like I would for any private business as long as it's actions aren't federally outlawed, like discriminating protected classes. The first amendment does protect you from government action on free speech, but it doesn't protect you from social and employment consequences of said speech. That has always been my position. -
The argumemt has always been that these companies are usually pussies for pandering to sjws, not that they can't do whatever they want
