Ducks know all about the hard knocks of fielding teams that historically were among college football's best, only to fall short of a natty by three points, or knock off the defending champs in a playoff game then fuck up the next outing. Oregon's teams accomplished more than most of those chumps from the past who were given titles after 8 game seasons and never had to actually play the nation's best teams to win a title.
